Les votes de cette année s’ouvriront le 4 novembre prochain, la société blues de Toronto célébrera le 19ème gala des Maple Blues Awards le 18 janvier 2016.

Harrison Kennedy de Hamilton mène le bal avec 5 nominations

Ayant 4 nominations, MonkeyJunk, The 24^th Street Wailers, , Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar.

Ayant 3 nominations,  Cécile Doo-Kingué, Steve Hill, John Campbelljohn, David Gogo et Soulstack.

Parmi les autres nommés du Québec, Angel Forrest, Michael Jerome Browne, et Guy Bélanger, la Colombie Britanique est représentée par David Vest, Owen Owen Owen, Keith Picot and Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne.

En tout 87 nominations divisée en 15 catégories et le Blues Booster of the Year Award. Plusieurs nouveaux venus parmi les nominations tels que Cécile Doo-Kingué, Kirby Sewell, Cheryl Lescom, Samantha Martin, Jenie Thai, Sugar Brown, Sugarray Rayford, Jesse O’Brien, Mark Wessenger, Owen Owen Owen, et Leigh-Anne Stanton.
