Greenwood au Festival International de Jazz de Montréal 2011

Plusieurs bonnes nouvelles pour Greenwood en ce début du mois de juin!Tout d’abord, le groupe fait effectivement partie de laprogrammation 2011 du Festival de Jazz de Montréal ! Le 30 juin, dès 19h sur la scène blues du festival, le band estrien aura la chance de présenter pendant une bonne heure son « power blues » tiré de l’album Green Money, ainsi qu’une ou deux pièces reprises, épicées à la sauce Greenwood… Le groupe est très excité à l’idée de faire ce spectacle et espère vous y voir en grand nombre !!Ensuite, après avoir passé en demi-finales du concours « Relève en blues » dans le cadre du Festiblues de Montréal, Greenwood a été choisi comme l’un des trois finalistes qui se produiront au Festival, le 11 août prochain.

Enfin, le groupe aura la chance de faire la première partie de Pat The White à la Maison de la culture de Waterloo, le 1er octobre 2011.

Many good news for Greenwood in the last couple of days!First of all, the band will indeed perform at theMontreal International Jazz Fest! On June 30th, at 7pm, on the blues stage of the festival, Greenwood will have the chance to perform for an hour of power blues from their album Green Money, and they might throw in a couple of covers with a hint of Greenwood in it… The guys are really excited about this show and they hope to see you all there!!Also, after playing in the semi-finals of the Relève en blues contest, Greenwood has been chosen as one of the three finalists who will play at the Festiblues de Montréal, on August 11th.

Finally, the band will open for Pat The White at the Maison de la culture de Waterloo, on October 1st.
